Lauren Booker
Chief Operating Officer of Grapevine Financial
Lauren Booker
Lauren's journey into financial services began in 2012 while attending Syracuse University, where she was pursuing a doctorate in audiology. Although she originally planned to open her own audiology practice, a chance meeting with Vicki Brackens introduced her to the financial services industry and ultimately changed the course of her career.
Over more than a decade in the financial services industry, Lauren has helped individuals and families navigate important financial decisions with confidence and clarity. Her approach is rooted in relationships, education, and a genuine desire to help people navigate life's most important transitions.
Lauren understands that financial planning is about much more than money. Her personal experiences have given her firsthand insight into the emotional, practical, and financial challenges families face during life's transitions, including caregiving responsibilities, long-term care needs, and unexpected loss. These experiences continue to shape the compassionate and relationship-focused approach she brings to every client interaction.
In 2025, Lauren and James founded Grapevine Financial, combining professional expertise with personal experience to help families protect what matters most, plan with confidence, and build lasting legacies. When she's not working with clients, Lauren enjoys volunteering with her community garden and pursuing her passion for dance through Orizon, one of Dallas’ prominent Afro-centric dance groups.
