A defining chapter in James' life came when a serious health challenge left him disabled at a young age. For the first time, he experienced the uncertainty that comes when health, income, and future plans are suddenly disrupted. That season instilled a deep appreciation for preparation, risk management, and protecting what makes every other financial goal possible: the ability to earn an income. The lessons learned during that time continue to shape both his life and the guidance he provides to clients today. Having navigated unexpected challenges himself, James is passionate about helping clients create clarity, confidence, and direction so they can remain focused on what matters most, regardless of what life brings their way.

Today, James helps individuals, families, and business owners make thoughtful financial decisions while staying aligned with the people, values, and goals that matter most to them. Outside of work, James enjoys fitness and serving through the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's graduate chapters to support leadership, mentorship, and community development.
